My friend started having a blog and decided to buy a domain without hosting and he just linked it to blogger platform.He want to change the icon beside the name of his domain. Unfortunately, we are just an accountant and not a programmer so it's really hard for us to design his page.We spend so much time thinking back our Computer programming subject when we are in college,the funny part was -only the face of our professor that we could recall. We try reading some books and other sources from the web and thank God we've able to change the icon.
Below are the steps on how we be able to change the FavIcon :

Note : Please back-u your template first before proceeding with th changes.
1. )Design the icon you want for your website.(use photoshop,gimp or whatever software you have)
2. )If you have already the design,change the size to 16x16 or 32x32 (use 16x16 for the sake of older browser), now save it as PNG or ICO file format (but more advisable to use the .png).
3..) Upload your image to any free picture hosting (we use photobucket since the link is automatically generated)
4. ) Get the link of your icon from your picture hosting (e.g. http://addictive-apps.photobucket.com/mywebicon.png)
5.) Go to your blogger dashboard and click design and click "EDIT HTML".
6.) Hit the " Ctrl +F" and type and find the code shown below.
7. Copy and insert the code provided below AFTER the code in step #6 (select the format of your icon)

8. Type or paste the link of your icon to 'URL of your icon file'
9. SAVE your template
10. Before you will see your icon you still have to clear all you temporary files in your browser.
